Abstract:
A new paradigm known as Internet technologies has transformed the old way of life into a high-tech lifestyle. These changes are made possible by IT and include smart homes, smart cities, energy conservation, pollution reduction, smart industries, and smart transportation. Many important research projects and investigations have been carried out in an effort to advance technology using various technologies. To fully realise the promise of IT, there are still many obstacles and problems that must be resolved. These difficulties and problems must be taken into account from a variety of IT perspectives, including applications, difficulties, enabling technologies, social and environmental implications, etc. The main goal of this chapter is to give a full discussion from both a technological and societal perspective. The chapter goes through several difficulties and significant problems with Internet technologies, architecture, and significant application domains. The main goal of this chapter is to outline information technology, including prospects for Internet use to gain competitive advantages and how they might facilitate the secure transit of information.
