Dr. Jagannath Jadhav is presently serves as assistant vice president in multinational firm, Maharashtra, India. He has over 15 years of rich experience in spearheading research & management of classical as well as latest chemical transformations in support of agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, fine and speciality chemicals development. Dr. Jagannath Jadhav received his Ph.D. degree in Organic chemistry from Shivaji University, Kolhapur and has held various positions including: Senior Research Scientist, Manager, Head R&D and, most recently Assistant Vice president of the Fine and Speciality chemical division in varied organizations. His area of research includes synthesis of medicinally active scaffolds especially for cancer and tuberculosis treatment, Novel research methodologies includes: transition metal catalysed organic transformations, green chemistry by heterogeneous catalysis and other alternative techniques etc. He has published more than 20 research/review articles in the journals of international repute. Also he has been honoured from the state governments as well as UGC by some prestigious awards and fellowships through his academic and professional career.
