Abstract:
Particles change their behavior when their size is reduced. Their properties alter drastically as the particle size reaches a nanometer range. This is due to the surface and size effects that arises on the account of reduced particle size. The increased surface to volume ratio is responsible for the growing interest of researchers to investigate their properties. The nanoparticles have wide applications such as in automobile industry, drug delivery, cosmetics, waste water treatment etc. Their applications brings a great revolution in the science and technology.
