Abstract:
The authors of this chapter discussed various sources of biochar as well as potential environmental problems that can be solved by using biochar. The chapter also discussed the removal of antibiotics from agricultural waste and which parameters should be investigated during the removal of antibiotics. Various sources of water pollution were discussed, as well as how and where biochar can be used to remove biochar. Organic pollutants that are harmful to aquatic ecosystems and human health, such as persistent organic pollutants (POPs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and others, can be removed using biochar.
