Abstract:
ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) are an appealing research tool in the biomedical sector due to their anticancer and antibacterial capabilities. ZnO NPs' production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and promotion of apoptosis are responsible for these effects. In addition, ZnO NPs have been effectively used as drug carriers to load and deliver drugs to certain sites, minimizing unwanted toxicity and off-target effects and enhancing synergistic advantages. Here, we go through the characteristics, production methods, and biological uses of ZnO nanoparticles.
