Abstract:
Augmented reality (AR) and video game (VR), a kingdom-of-the-art technology for superimposing data onto the $64000 world, have recently begun to have a bearing on our everyday lives. Additionally, AR and VR have shown an excellent contribution to advanced construction management in recent years. However, a comprehensive review article of AR and VR technologies in construction management is absent within the literature. This study provides a comprehensive review of an outline of victimization potential opportunities of AR and VR to unravel a range of construction management problems effectively and expeditiously. This study found that AR is with success utilized in construction project programming, progress following, employee coaching, safety management, time and value management, and quality and defects management. VR is effectively used as an image tool, employee coaching technology, safety management tool, and quality and defects management tool. Additionally, AR and VR square measure used for developing a network that enables the chance of getting conferences with those that square measure geographically remote from one another or the development website. This study might facilitate to explore the potential fields of victimization AR and VR technologies within the industry effectively as advance time- and cost-saving profitable tools
