Abstract:
Ethical guidelines are frequently written for adult patients and may be difficult to apply to children and families. Unusual considerations are required to comprehend the child's ability to make treatment decisions, conflicting legal and moral measures related to the treatment of children, contrasting necessities of children and their relatives, and the extraordinary vulnerabilities of children. The nurse should adhere to ethical principles and be wellversed in nursing legal safeguards. To provide quality care to her paediatric patients, the paediatric nurse must be aware of the various rights of children as well as acts related to child welfare. The nurse should be aware of the ethical concerns of both children and the dying.
