Abstract:
Knowledge acts as a kind of glue to bind learning and information together. We grasp a subject better when we are comfortable with it. Key concepts and core ideas in knowledge engineering, intellectual capital, and organizational learning include knowledge, information, and data. The different dimensions that the terms "information and knowledge engineering" entail are outlined in this article. The reader will get a solid foundation in a wide range of technologies, together with: expert systems, neural networks, genetic algorithms, casebased reasoning systems, data mining, and intelligent agents.
