Dr. Madhu Puttegowda is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan from Karnataka, India. He has received the B.E (Mechanical Engineering) from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, India in the year 2011, M.Tech (Product Design and Manufacturing) from VTU Extension Centre, NIE, Mysuru, in the year 2013 and Ph.D. (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Science) from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, India in the year 2020. He is a Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Associate Member of Institute of Engineers (India). He is a reviewer for more than 20 International Journals and International Conferences (for Elsevier, Springer, Sage, and Wiley). In addition, he has published more than 35 articles in high quality international peer reviewed journals, 5 book Chapters, 1 book (Editor), and presented research papers at national/international conferences. He has been awarded with research grant from Vision Group on Science & Technology, Department of IT, BT and Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka. His current research areas include Natural fiber composites, Polymer Composites and Advanced Material Technology.
