Dr Shailendra S. Gurav is a Doctorate in the ‘Faculty of Medicine’ from R.T.M. University, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, having 20 years of Research and Teaching experience. He is currently affiliated as a ‘Professor’ with Goa College of Pharmacy, Goa University, India. His research area includes Natural Products Research, Ayurveda Biology, Computational Biology, Herbal Nano-delivery, Plant Biotechnology, Phyto-pharmacology. He is the recipient of the ‘Senior Research Fellowship’ (2005) from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, India. He has been honoured as ‘Best Professor in Pharmacognosy’ by Business School Affaire and Dewang Mehta National Education Award (2019). He has been awarded ‘International Travel Grant’ from ICMR, New Delhi, India, Phytochemical Society of Europe and Asia, Centre for International Co-operation in Sciences (CICS) (2015). He is a recognized PG and PhD. Supervisor. He has 18 patent applications, published more than 50 research papers in national and international reputed journals and given technology transfer of six industrial products. He has written two International reference books and five book chapters with Springer Sciences and Elsevier publications. He is a member of several professional bodies/organizations. Also, he is the Editorial Board Member and reviewer for national and international journals.
