Dr. Ankit Kumar Pandey received the M.Tech. degree from University of Allahabad, India, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi, India, in 2018. He was a Visiting Research Scholar with National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan, during his Ph.D., in 2017. He worked as a Research Associate at NIT Delhi, from August 2018 to July 2020. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Bennett University, Greater Noida, India. Recently he has been ranked among top 2% scientists in the world (for year 2020) in the related research area by Elsevier, Stanford University report (ranked 1514 out of 1,08,280 scientists). He has authored 22 SCI/SCIE journals, 4 conferences and 2 book-chapters. He has reviewed more than 70 research publications for different journals (IEEE Sensors, OFT, JOSA B, Optic Express, silicon). His research interests include optical photodetectors, plasmonic absorbers, and surface plasmon resonance-based sensors with inclusion of 2D materials.
