Dr. P C Vengaiah Working as Sr Scientist at ICAR - AICRP Palms, Dr YSR Horticultural University, Andhra Pradesh, India and having more than 15 years of experience in research in the field of Food processing. Research area focussed on sugar palms, which is unique and developed processing unit of first its kind in India for palm products. Conducted trainings to farmers on entrepreneurship development programmes. He is also holds memberships in professional associations i.e Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers (ISAE), Institution of Engineers (India), Association of Food Scientists and technologists of India (AFSTI), Nutrition Society of India (NSI), Indian Science Congress etc. He has presented many scientific papers in National and International conferences and published more than 40 articles in indexed and Scopus journals. He has a Contributory Editor for many journals. He is guiding both postgraduate students for their research work. He was the recipient of the Young Scientist award in 2016, Swadesi palmyrah award in 2017, Best Researcher Award in 2018, and Outstanding Researcher award in 2019 and 2020, incredible researcher in Award in 2021. He has served as an examiner for postgraduate in various universities across India.
