I am Baban Dey, pursuing Ph.D student in the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra of chemical engineering department. I am doing my Ph.D on the topic of ‘Development of advanced high performance based polymer nanocomposites materials for potential defense applications’. I have completed the three years govt. funded project of DRDO. I am working with polymer nanocomposites, nanomaterials, supercapacitor, energy storage system, biosensoretc. I am also efficient in materials characterizations techniques like FTIR, XRD, FESEM, electrochemical analysis, Chromatography and mechanical testing etc. Till date, I have published twelve reputed journal publications and I have presented my research in the international conference of APM-2020, Bengaluru and ISPB-2021, Mesra. I have presented my research through poster presentation in our institutional research scholar colloquium. I have done my bachelors and masters from Vidyasagar University, Midnapure, West Bengal and schooling from Bonbirsingh B.S. High School and Bishnupur High School, respectively. I am one and only son of my parents. I was born and brought up at Birsingha, one small village of Bankura district in West Bengal. My hobby is reading detective books and novels. I like to play cricket and gathering information about various sports.
