Dr. Bhaskar Bethi is an Assistant professor at the B V Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur (BVRITN). He obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW). He holds master’s and bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India. Dr. Bhaskar Bethi’s research interests include fundamental aspects of process intensification, sonoprocess engineering, cavitation-based nanotechnology, wastewater treatment, and nanomaterial synthesis. From an applied perspective, he has developed, from lab to pilot scale, integrated wastewater treatment processes for the textile industry, emerging contaminants. Dr. Bhaskar Bethi received a prestigious Prime minister fellowship in 2016 for doctoral research from government of India to pursue research at the NIT, Warangal, India. He has received prestigious Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) Award-2017 from SRISTI-GYTI-BIRAC, Govt. of India. He also received the Rohan Rostock Graduate school fellowship from DAAD Germany to pursue research at the Hanoi University Science & Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam. His research has produced more than 10 journal papers with high-impact factors, 5 book chapters, and 3 patents with 592 citations (excluding self-citations, Scopus) and h-index of 9. Dr. Bhaskar Bethi has supervised 4 graduate students and 2 M.Tech students after joining BVRITN.
