Dr. Sourav Poddar is PhD (Engg) from Jadavpur University, West Bengal, India, in 2017, and is a Chartered Engineer from IEI and Professional Engineer of ECI as well as of IEI. Presently, he works as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at NIT, Tiruchirappalli. He has research and teaching experience of 12 and 8 years, respectively. He has published 17 research articles and 15 conference papers and has filed one patent. He has 12 research awards to his credit. His research interests involve Renewable Energy, waste management, cryogenics and process control. He is a reviewer of Journals of the Environmental Progress and Sustainable Energy and Current World Environment since 2017 and 2019, respectively. He is a member of APCBEES, IACSIT, IIChe, IEI, Indian Science Congress, ISHRAE, IIOV, IAENG. His team had also been selected for Chhatra Vishwakarma Awards 2019, AICTE, at the regional level. He has also conducted 5 days webinar on “Energy from Biomass” in association with “Engineering Council of India”.
