I am a research scholar of Molecular mycopathology Lab, Biocontrol unit, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara, West Bengal. I have been awarded Doctor of Philosophy in Botany from West Bengal State University. I was awarded young researcher award from InSc (Institute of scholars) in 2021. Area of my research includes biological control of mosquitoes using fungi and fungal products for eco-friendly management of mosquitoes and mosquito borne diseases. I have discovered pathogenicity of Trichoderma asperellum against Anopheles sp. mosquito for the first time in the world and published this research work in the nature group reputed journal Scientific reports. My two other research papers were published in PLOS neglected tropical diseases and Scientific Reports.
